Brass Press-In Insert 0.187" Diameter x 0.080" Long

Press-In Orifice Inserts are easy to install into a wide variety of applications. These precise inserts typically have a small lead built into the cartridge to facilitate the insertion. This helps insure that the cartridge is aligned before finally driving it home. Ask the Bird staff for interference fit tolerance advice and other insertion aids.

This insert comes with our 0.060" sharp edge ruby orifice series in sizes ranging from 0.0004" thru 0.035". Please refer to the drop down screen below for available sizes and orifice part numbers. Upon special request the sapphire conical orifice series and the 0.118" ruby series can also be made available.

With a Sapphire Vee-Hole Orifice (0.087" O.D.)

This Conical Vee Entry Orifice series is also wire lapped to insure uniformity of the holes roundness, surface finish and sharp edges.

This orifice series is usually a good choice for applications that require both low flow and or higher pressures. Sizes range from 0.002" up thru 0.033".
