Brass Press-In Insert 0.250" Diameter x 0.125" Long

Press-In Inserts are easy to install into a variety of applications. These precise inserts typically have a small lead designed to facilitate insertion. This helps insure alignment of the cartridge before driving it home. Ask the Bird staff for insertion tolerances advice and other practical insertion aids. This insert is brass material.

 N/A This insert comes with our sharp edge ruby orifice series 0.060" diameter, with sizes ranging from 0.0004" thru 0.035". The 0.087" sapphire conical orifice series and 0.118" ruby orifice series are also available on special request.

With a Sapphire Vee-Hole Orifice (0.087" O.D.)

This Conical Vee Entry Orifice series is also wire lapped to insure uniformity of the holes roundness, surface finish and sharp edges.

This orifice series is usually a good choice for applications that require both low flow and or higher pressures. Sizes range from 0.002" up thru 0.033".
