Filtered Orifice Fittings and Connectors come in many forms. They almost always include a stainless wire mesh filter and ruby or sapphire orifice depending on type. Because of the wide range of possibilities designers can eliminate redundant fittings by combining the orifice and filter into one fitting. RB31301 (82748) is a brass quick connect fitting for 1/8-27 NPT thread x 0.250" diameter tubing. This fitting has a single stainless steel wire mesh filter, cup shaped to maximize surface area.

This Sharp Edge Ruby Orifice series is laser drilled and wire lapped to insure Roundness, surface finish and sharp edges.

This orifice series is a good choice where the designer requires low flow, accuracy and repeatability. This orifice series has a complete micron series starting at 7.5 microns.
